Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the TidyCue iOS application, the TidyCue support page, and communications you send to TidyCue support. In this policy, "TidyCue," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the developer and operator of TidyCue.
TidyCue is a home-cleaning planning tool. It helps you organize rooms, recurring tasks, schedules, reminders, and completion status.
TidyCue is intended for adults managing a household and is not directed to children under 13.

Cleaning plan information
TidyCue processes information such as your selected home type, rooms, areas, recurring tasks, due dates, completion status, and app settings. This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to TidyCue servers.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. TidyCue may receive transaction or entitlement information needed to confirm that TidyCue Pro Lifetime has been purchased or restored. We do not receive your full card number, banking credentials, or Apple ID password.
Notifications
If you enable Gentle reminders, TidyCue uses iOS notification services to schedule reminders. Notification permission and reminder settings are controlled through TidyCue and your device settings. TidyCue does not use notifications for third-party advertising.
Support communications
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to provide, which may include your email address, message, screenshots, app version, iOS version, and device model. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card information, or other information that is not needed to resolve the issue.
Support and privacy website
These pages are static and do not set advertising cookies or include analytics scripts. The company that hosts the pages may process ordinary technical logs, such as an IP address, browser type, and request time, to deliver and secure the website. Its handling of those logs is governed by the hosting provider's own terms and privacy practices.
How information is used
Information is used only as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide and maintain TidyCue's cleaning-planning features.
- Save your tasks, schedules, completion status, and preferences on your device.
- Schedule reminders you request.
- Confirm and restore your TidyCue Pro Lifetime purchase.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot reported problems.
- Protect the security and integrity of the app and support services.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use personal information for third-party advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking.
When information may be shared
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be handled by the following parties only when necessary:
- Apple: Apple processes App Store purchases, purchase restoration, and related platform services under Apple's own privacy practices.
- Email providers: If you contact support, your message is processed by the email providers used to send and receive the communication.
- Website hosting providers: The provider hosting the privacy or support page may process technical request logs.
- Legal and safety requests: Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent fraud, or protect users and the public.
TidyCue does not share data with advertising networks or data brokers.
Data retention and deletion
Information stored on your device
Your cleaning plan remains on your device until you edit or delete it, reset the app's data, or remove the app. Removing TidyCue may delete locally stored app information. Your App Store purchase record remains with Apple so an eligible purchase can be restored.
Support communications
Support messages are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain support records, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of support information by contacting us.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you. Because TidyCue does not require an account and does not receive your locally stored cleaning data, we generally cannot access or recover that on-device information.
- You can edit or delete cleaning tasks and areas from within the app.
- You can disable reminders in TidyCue Settings or in iOS notification settings.
- You can remove locally stored information by deleting the app.
- You can request access to or deletion of information contained in support communications by emailing us.
TidyCue does not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out required for the current version.
International processing
Your cleaning-plan information remains on your device. If you contact support or visit the support website, information may be processed in the countries where the applicable email and hosting providers operate. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for cross-border processing.
Security
TidyCue is designed to limit data collection and keep cleaning-plan information on your device. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures for information received through support. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when TidyCue's features, data practices, legal requirements, or service providers change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or App Store listing when appropriate.
